Media streaming app Plex now available on Xbox One

The Plex multimedia app is now available on Xbox One for all your media-streaming needs.

Plex is well-known to those who have a huge video and music library stored on their home networks, and want to stream the content to other devices in the same network.

This will make Xbox One the first of the new-consoles to get the app. Plex supports voice and gesture controls for those with Kinect, and will add metadata and cover art to your files for prettier viewing.

The app is currently available only to Plex Pass holders, and will be made available to everyone else later.

So go ahead, download it, we know all those MKV files you have are totally ripped from your Blu-ray library.
