Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare “Animation & Art Direction” Video Shows New Tech

Activision has sent over the latest video for Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare that showcases the new tech being used by the studio.

Animation Director Christopher Stone and Art Director Joe Salud talk about how combining new tech with performance capture, facial animation and character skeletons deliver the most visually realistic graphics the franchise has seen so far.It also shows actor Kevin Spacey wearing a mo-cap suit acting out scenes in the game as well.

Set for release this November, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the first game in the franchise to be developed solely by Sledgehammer Games.
