Capcom also noted that this sequel is set after RE6 and will transpire in a "foreboding, derelict plantation mansion in rural America.

Resident Evil 7 is coming to Playstation 4 (fully compatible with PlayStation VR Mode), Xbox One and PC on 24th January, but there's a demo available to download tonight if you have PlayStation Plus.
