Microsoft has revealed next month's three free titles for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, including one of the best multiplayer shooters of the last console generation.

Xbox One owners will receive Chariot, a brand new ID@Xbox indie platformer with co-op. It's free for the entire month of October.

From October 1-15, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is free for Xbox 360 owners.In the second half of the month, from October 16-31, Xbox 360 owners can nab Darksiders II for free.
