Codemasters teases new announcement

The developer behind the DiRT franchise has teased the announcement of a new project.

Codemasters’ Lee Williams said on the company’s official blog that this past week has been “like the calm before the storm,” adding, “developers are getting builds ready, the PR guys are preparing PR stuff and the Community Team are busy teasing something...”

“We’ll be back next week...and after taking a look at the weather forecast it looks like we could be in for a storm after all...”

It’s worth considering that the next entry in the F1 series is supposedly in the works for current and next-generation formats, so we could see an announcement regarding this.

However, there is also the possibility that the U.K. studio is beavering away on a new DiRT and/or GRID title, too.
