New Racing Format Before Everyone Else

The latest free update for NASCAR '14 will give gamers the chance to try out the organization's upcoming Chase for the Sprint Cup format, Deep Silver announced today.

Chase for the Sprint Cup is NASCAR's championship system. The update will expand the format to include updated rules, 16 drivers and a new round-by-round advancement to crown the winner. The update also adds additional drivers, resulting in 43 Sprint Cup driver options, gameplay tweaks and AI adjustments.

NASCAR '14 launched in February for PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360. More content will be released in the form of downloadable packs as the season progresses.
